Apple, on its part, has taken the firm decision to block all of the activities related to the sending of NFTs on the Coinbase Wallet iOS. In its turn, according to the version received from Coinbase Wallet iOS, however, Apple had earlier taken the stance of stopping their last created app release until they were compelled to deactivate the very feature itself.
As far as Apple is concerned, and the information received from reliable sources at their end, they are of the firm opinion that, in the sending of NFTs, the gas fees that are required have to be duly made with the utilization of their in-App purchase system.
Through this process, and in their viewpoint, it will only be possible for them to collect their fair share of 30% of the gas fees charged and applicable.
For the uninitiated, the real problem that arises in this very scenario is the fact that according to the ways and means regarding the entire procedure that is strictly followed in the case of NFTs and blockchains, this factor will be absolutely impossible to comply with.
The reason that is attributed to this is the fact that Apple’s proprietary in-App system is just not compatible with crypto. In their further opinion and understanding, this would be similar to the situation wherein Apple will seem to get a share of the fees against each and every email that will be sent using the open internet protocols.
