Key Highlight
- Hash Global, DigiFT, United Stables, and Venus Protocol are launching a decentralized PoC vault on BNB Chain.
- The project enhances the Real-World Asset (RWA) segment by allowing tokenized BNB fund units (hBNB) to act as efficient on-chain loan collateral.
- BNB price sees a 7.5% drop ahead amid the formation of a double-top pattern.
The institutional demand for utilizing tokenized assets in different ways is evolving rapidly. Beyond holding investments, institutions are searching for ways to access liquidity without selling their core positions, with predictable rates and defined terms. In an attempt to achieve this, a cross-industry collaboration involving Hash Global, DigiFT, United Stables, and Venus Protocol introduces a new proof-of-concept (POC) vault that connects tokenized BNB fund (hBNB) units with fixed-rate liquidity on-chain.
Hash Global Vault Unlocks DeFi Liquidity for hBNB
According to a recent X post, the tokenized BNB (hBNB) fund unit is set to be integrated into decentralized finance (DeFi) as productive collateral through an upcoming initiative— Hash Global Fixed Rate Vault.
This proof-of-concept vault, developed via a collaboration between Web3 investment firm Hash Global, tokenized asset market infrastructure DigiFT, decentralized lending protocol Venus, and the stablecoin issuer United Stable, aims to establish a framework for institutional access to liquidity against digital asset holdings without liquidation.
The initiative explores a system where capital can be borrowed against tokenized positions under predetermined interest rates and timelines. In this model, the borrower will be Hash Global, which will deposit tokenized BNB fund units (hBNB) as the primary collateral. DigiFT provides the infrastructure needed to tokenize these fund units in compliance with the law.
The liquidity side will be provided by United Stables, which will provide the necessary stablecoin funds, known as $U, and Venus Protocol will manage the smart contract, risk parameters, and fixed-rate lending mechanics that are essential for the transaction to take place on-chain.
This model is an attempt to connect regulated institutional investment products with decentralised credit markets. The design envisions various institutional exposure scenarios to BNB in an automated lending environment, rather than simply sitting idle in digital wallets.
Operational Timeline and Capital Thresholds
The experimental vault is designed to function in two different phases. It starts with a seven-day supply period that then becomes a fixed-term period of 30 days. The total capacity ceiling of the proof of concept is 150,000 $U with a minimum entry threshold of 1,000 $U for liquidity providers. Capital suppliers are in a position to offer an indicative annual percentage rate (APR) of 2.43%, which is a target, not a guaranteed rate, for the active vault period.
The system is pending final deployment, and the launch date for the vault hasn’t been confirmed. Additionally, the asset aspect of hBNB is solely available for qualified investors who satisfy compliance standards set by DigiFT. According to the developers, the initial trial will be used as a starting point for future vault structures that will be offered with different asset classes and different lending terms.
Double Top Pattern Hints Deeper Correction in BNB Price
Over the past week, the Binance coin price has dropped from $795 to the current trading value of $748, registering a loss of 5.88%. This pullback marks a second reversal from the resistance zone at $800 within a month, signalling the formation of a double-top pattern.
This classic bearish reversal pattern is often spotted at a local top, suggesting a potential correction for BNB price. During the October 8th sell-off, the Binance coin price gave a decisive breakdown below the pattern’s neckline floor of $750.
If the coin price shows sustainability below the neckline, the Binance coin price could fall another 7.5% and seek support at the 200-day exponential moving average at $750. Selling pressure would accelerate if buyers fail to defend this EMA support as well.

However, a broader analysis of BNB’s daily chart shows a mid-term sideways trend in play. As shown in the chart above, the coin price continues to resonate between two diverging trendlines of a megaphone pattern.
Thus, the current correction could hit a major support at the pattern’s bottom trendline near $500.
