Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by market capitalization, is set to shut down its Binance Pool and related services by 10th November 2026. The wind-down covers a comprehensive list of services, including Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, along with other Binance Pool-related features such as Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications, and mining pool API services. Given below are the major timelines of this shutdown and necessary measures for users to protect their assets and funds.
Binance Shares Critical Cut-off Times and Final Settlement
According to a recent announcement, Binance will discontinue all pool-related services by 10th November, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. During this time, Binance will disable all Stratum URLs and mining endpoints, effectively severing the mining connections.
The exchange’s official communication or report has not revealed a specific reason for the shutdown and has only provided a standard corporate statement, stating that the decision was made “as part of our ongoing review of products and services”
While Binance remains silent, some market analysts guess that the decision could be a strategic business realignment, as the exchange calls to trim down its lower-margin operations, such as the shutdown of its centralized operation earlier this year to refocus corporate resources.
In addition, running a decentralized mining infrastructure across various jurisdictions introduced strict compliance requirements and regulatory oversight on energy consumption, which may have diverged from Binance’s global compliance strategy. However, these are opinions of market observers and not Binance’s words.
The exchange has also explicitly stated that any hashrate submissions and mining shares after the cut-off will not be accepted or processed, meaning miners will receive no credit or financial compensation for computation after the set deadline. Entry points on these products will be closed, and reward accruals, yield, or any service benefits will cease.
For work completed prior to the shutdown, Binance will calculate final payouts based on its standard mining rules. Outstanding balances, eligible rewards, or applicable refunds will be processed after the cutoff date and are subject to compliance with the standard regulatory requirements, risk mitigation measures, and account verifications.
Immediate Actions Needed by Users
In order to avoid losing their income or disrupting operations, miners need to disconnect from Binance Pool and reconfigure their mining hardware to connect to different pools before the 10th of November. In addition, users who have a position in Pool Savings are encouraged to manually withdraw their funds before the closure.
Important to note is that the exchange has also imposed a deadline of 11:59 UTC on November 10, 2026, for users to ensure that they are fully verified, which means completing the required identity verification (KYC) process, so that the remaining balances can be distributed.
Data Retrieval and Permanent Closure
Binance will start removing all navigation links to the mining pool from its main home page on November 10, while the normal mining operation will continue until it reaches the stipulated cutoff. However, a 14-day grace period will be provided for data retention.
The legacy Binance Pool pages will be accessible until 24th November 2026 at 07:00 UTC, allowing miners to check final payout statuses, download historic transaction data, and review the performance of the Pool before its complete removal.
Despite this announcement, native cryptocurrency BNB recorded an intraday gain of 1.67% to trade at $745. This uptick is poised to retest a key resistance of the double-top breakdown, as Namecoinnews shared in previous analysis.
If the BNB price holds below the $755 resistance, the sellers could drive an extended correction to $686 support.
