After integrating Umbrella Network’s decentralized oracles, the Solana ecosystem recently received another upgrade. With the development, developers on Solana can access Umbrella’s robust data feeds for DEXs and blockchain-based games.
The integration will offer developers access to 3,800 data feeds from crypto, commodities markets, US equities, and RNGs. Besides this, Umbrella Network is also building several custom data solutions to bring data feeds on-chain throughout weather information, sports stats, healthcare, insurance data, geolocation, energy, and more.
Sam Kim, Umbrella Network’s Senior Advisor, expressed delight about the integration. Kim stated that the integration with Solana holds major significance as it allows Umbrella Network to be available on its first non-EVM ecosystem.
Sam added that this rides on the success Solana experienced earlier. The Umbrella Network team believes that dApps on the Solana network will gain significant flexibility and precision by accessing verifiable data feeds.
Solana powers over 1,400 projects in the Web3, NFT, and DeFi spaces, and with more developers trusting the network due to its GameFi and NFT functionalities, the inclusion of Umbrella’s data feeds will boost its use-cases through the roof. It will also be helpful for high-volume data processing and off-chain computation.
Anatoly Yakovenko, Solana Labs’ co-founder, also discussed recent developments. According to Anatoly, GameFi and NFTs will play a crucial role in rallying the next billion users towards crypto. Thus, adding versatile oracle solutions will aid developers in increasing the features to develop projects seamlessly.
The latest integration adds another reliable name to Solana’s list of support chains, and it also supports names like Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Ethereum, Arbitum, and Avalanche. The development will surely enable more projects to use decentralized data solutions effortlessly.
