In Venezuela, Dash has made a new record by selling over 66,000 KRIP mobile phones which consist special features of Cryptocurrency. As per the company report, from August 2018 to the present date, an enormous number of phones have been sold in Venezuela thereby making the world’s largest market for the cryptocurrency related phone.
As per CCN reports, Dash company entered a deal with Kripto Mobile Corporation (KRIP) a South American based company whose major focus is to manufactures mobile phones which has a special feature of Dash ecosystem, Dash wallets, and the Bitrefill app.
As per CEO of Dash Company, Ryan Taylor, and based on his estimation the new deal would have led to the growth of over 10,000 ecosystem users of Venezuelan per month. But in the real scenario, the objective got exceeded from the sale of 53,000 devices in the past three months which is a very good response from the public.
Partnership is Fruitful
According to the CCN information, as per the instructions of Dash Partnership around 66,000 KRIP K1 phones have been sold under the wholesale category and over 53,000 phones have been delivered to Venezuela to the ultimate customers and retailers. Such change in the economy gives an indication that the public is keen to adopt cryptocurrency in their daily life schedule that provides the key to encounter the problem of non-existence of hard currency.
Further, such partnership has not restricted to only one deal but also has extended, where these both companies have signed a deal with another company DiscoverDash.com that helps in the creation of a mobile application version of the website and the same will be equipped in all the existing and future KRIP smartphones. Such extra feature will enable a user to locate and browse merchants that accept Dash in their region.
As per statement of Dash Core Group Global Head of Business Development Bradley Zastrow: “Our focus since the launch of our KRIP phones in August has been to make this incredible Dash ecosystem as complete and inclusive as possible. That we have already sold and shipped over 66,000 phones in only two and a half months clearly shows we are achieving those goals. Now, with Dash Text and the DiscoverDash.com app, we’re expanding our partnership and enhancing the user experience, making it easier than ever before for the Venezuela community to use and transact in Dash in their everyday lives.”
Latin America is on the Top List
Also, Dash is not wanting to restrict its business only to Venezuela but is also thinking to expand their business to Latin America also. The CCN reported that Dash Text would give an additional service of SMS-based cryptocurrency transaction service for every Venezuelan user, which will enable to drop down the need of internet connection by just 41% in the country.
As per Zastrow’s opinion, Dash wallet started in the month of September and grew by 23% in October only. Apparently, KRIP Venezuela Marketing Manager Andrea Coll said on Zastrow reaction that: “The results to date have been exceptional, and we’re thrilled to now build on that success by expanding to now include Dash Text and DiscoverDash.com.
