The integration will also help the metaverse project to widen its market and reach with support from the Solport and Taiyo Robotics family. The news of the integration came on the 28th of March through a Discord session of Solsteads. The projects have revised their roadmaps for the future to make them beneficial at all levels.
Solsteads and Citizens is the metaverse project from the Solana chain launched last September. The project has so far gained huge popularity among the users of Solana through its “surreal estates” known as Solsteads. Citizens are NFT-powered artworks minted on the Solana chain that gives you access to Solsteads 2D metaverse. Now, Solsteads and Citizens were officially moved to the ownership of Solport following the acquisition. It has also been confirmed that Solport will preserve the essence of the Solsteads metaverse going further. After this integration, the Solport family has expanded further as it already houses Taiyo Robotics, Degenerate Ape Academy, and Visionary Studios.
In line with the beliefs of Solsteads, Solport also wants to preserve the unique 2D experience of the metaverse. The crypto ecosystem has already developed several great 3D metaverses, and the 2D experience will help make Solsteads stand out among them.
