The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to hold the third crypto roundtable meeting on April 25.
Second Crypto Roundtable on April 25
According to journalist Eleanor Terrett, the SEC has disclosed details of its third cryptocurrency policy roundtable, the meeting on April 25 will focus on custody issues, featuring two panel discussions i.e., one on broker-dealer and wallet custody, and the other on investment adviser and investment company custody.
Moreover, members of the broker-dealer panel will include Jason Allegrante from Fireblocks, Rachel Anderika from Anchorage Digital, Terrence Dempsey from Fidelity Investments, Mark Greenberg from Kraken Exchange, Veronica McGregor from Exodus, Brandon Russell from Etana Custody and Tammy Weinrib from Copper.co.

After this roundtable, in the upcoming meetings, tokenization issues will be discussed on May 12, 2025 and decentralized finance will be discussed on June 6, 2025.
The crypto roundtable meetings are the SEC’s constant efforts towards bringing better reforms to the crypto industry. On April 11, the agency held its second roundtable, titled as “Between a Block and a Hard Place: Tailoring Regulation for Crypto Trading.” Panelists for the second roundtable included representatives from Uniswap Labs, Coinbase, UC Berkeley and the New York Stock Exchange.
