Binance.US made a declaration on 20th February 2020, to add Zilliqa on its trading platform for its customers in the U.S. Binance.U.S has added two trading pairs i.e., ZIL/USD and ZIL/BUSD. The announcement stated that Binance.US would be allowing users to deposit USD, BUSD, or ZIL to their wallets to prepare to go for the live trading.
Zilliqa is a new blockchain platform that is primarily designed to balance securely in the open, “permission-less” distributed network. Zilliqa aims to enable the amount of material passing through the system that matches up with Visa and MasterCard at a much lower price for merchants. The expected throughput is 8,000 approximate transactions/sec.
