Hyperliquid HYPE token has surged as the biggest gainer following President Donald Trump’s remarks about bringing the decentralized trading platform into the United States. Trump said CFTC Chairman Mike Sullivan was working to bring Hyperliquid into the U.S. in a regulated manner, sending HYPE on a rise within minutes. As per a post on X, HYPE jumped from around $60 to nearly $70, while its gain since the remarks has exceeded 20 percent.
The movement, HYPE, showed one of the strongest performance in the crypto market, subsequent to Trump’s comment. Bitcoin and Ethereum also rose sharply. The reaction came as traders responded to a blend of U.S. crypto policy changes, new momentum around the clarity act, and a better regulatory access for digital assets.
HYPE Soars After Trump Mentions Hyperliquid at White House
Trump’s comments sparked the major movement for Hyperliquid, with the president directly naming the platform while discussing the extensive U.S. crypto niche. He confirmed that the plans were underway to bring Hyperliquid into the nation through a government framework. The immediate market reaction was concentrated in HYPE. The token moved from approximately $60 to almost $70 within minutes, representing a move of nearly 17%. Since the announcement, hype has garnered more than 20%, making it the strongest performer among the major assets mentioned.
The rally also follows a window of mixed institutional activity in HYPE, with large holders accumulating tokens in the weeks leading up to Trump’s remarks. The latest change has now placed Hyperliquid directly into the discussion around U.S. crypto policy. Market reaction suggests traders are viewing regulated access to the American market as a significant mechanism for the platform and the native token. The reaction also stands out because HYPE was a major crypto asset before Trump’s comment.
The combination of institutional products, surging attention around Hyperliquid, and the probability of U.S. access has created a new mechanism for the token. This is at a time when the wider crypto market is responsive to policy changes.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Follows as Crypto Market Responds to Policy Momentum
The rally did not limit itself to HYPE. As per the X post, Bitcoin climbed from approximately $64,300 to $68,500, while Ethereum moved from $1,890 to $2,085. The comprehensive market shift came alongside Trump’s White House crypto meeting, with a renewed momentum around the Clarity Act.

The move was also attributed partly to short liquidation, the trader position around the latest policy developments. Ethereum simultaneously moved as high as $2,200 for the first time since May. Separate market posts also attributed the ETH move to large transactions involving Wintermute, Moonwell, Coinbase, Binance and OKX.
The market response therefore expands beyond Hyperliquid. Bitcoin and Ethereum both recorded massive gains while traders appeared to price in a more favorable U.S. government environment for digital assets.
CZ also weighed in on the potential U.S. expansion of Hyperliquid. The former Binance CEO said, bringing Hyperliquid into the U.S. in a fully compliant and legal fashion would not only benefit Hyperliquid but also build opportunities for other perpetual DEXs and decentralized services to reach U.S. users.
This broader interpretation could make Hyperliquid declaration more important for the crypto market than the immediate HYPE rally suggests. If regulatory developments allow more decentralized trading services to work in the U.S., the impact could expand to other protocols, exchanges and crypto assets.
For now, HYPE remains the standout performer, subsequent to Trump’s remarks, while Bitcoin and Ethereum also rose, Hyperliquid’s token has recorded the strongest move since the announcement on the platform’s potential expansion into one of the most closely watched shifts.
