After Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum Foundation Co-Executive Director Tomasz K. Stańczak shared a simplified Ethereum roadmap focused on scaling blobs, improving L1 performance, and enhancing UX (L2 interoperability and app-layer experience).

Stańczak stressed upon continuing to mint assets on L1, supporting RWA and stablecoins, improving communication and security, and promoting goal-driven R&D. He has also touched upon long-term aspirations, including enabling AI agents, autonomous machines, human-to-human privacy, and building an open-source society.
Stańczak took to X to post about the Ethereum roadmap, writing, “Yes, mostly this based on loads of convos. other things are secondary mostly (not because less important but should naturally happen as the result of the above – existing culture and values in Ethereum are massively value generating) @rudolf6_ is the roadmap czar.”
He also wrote about always minting assets on L1, winning RWA, and winning stables. The roadmap also included improving communication with the community and clarifying expectations. He added, “greatly increase security expectations (quadrillion economy), goals driven R&D inside the EF,” among his roadmaps.
Stańczak also noted striking aspirations to attract future thinkers. Among this list, the other aspiration consists of AI / agentic protocol and foundation long term which, according to Stańczak, “will be so cool that it will attract the greatest thinkers over long time.”
The Ethereum Foundation Director also believed autonomous machines using Ethereum, human-to-human privacy, and an open-source society are some of the decentralized community’s aspirational aspects.
Stańczak’s views on the roadmap come as a response to Josh Rudolf’s simplified roadmap, including scaling blobs, scaling the L1, and improving UX (L2 interop + app layer focus).
