- Cardano Foundation collaborates with Pacific Meta to help Japanese companies develop and deploy real-world blockchain applications.
- Cardano’s open interest (OI) witnessed a notable recovery to $543.5 million, providing speculative force in the market.
- ADA rides a steady recovery trend, resonating with the formation of a rising channel pattern in the daily time frame chart.
On Thursday, October 1st, the Cardano Foundation announced a strategic partnership with Pacific Meta, a prominent Tokyo-based blockchain accelerator and incubator. Despite the announcement, ADA, the native cryptocurrency of the Cardano ecosystem, fell 0.25% during the intraday session and is currently trading at $0.245. However, the open interest tied to ADA’s futures witnessed a recent uptick, signalling a potential for bullish recovery.
Cardano Partners with Pacific Meta To Explain its Footprint Across Japan
In a recent X post on Thursday, Cardano Foundation officially announced a strategic partnership with Pacific Meta as the blockchain aims to deepen its enterprise presence in Japan.
Cardano is a third-generation blockchain that utilizes a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Ouroboros. The Foundation is dedicated to overseeing, advancing, and protecting the open-source Cardano blockchain. CF focuses on driving enterprise adoption, improving infrastructure stability, and shaping regulatory standards globally.
Meanwhile, Pacific Meta is a Web3 accelerator and incubator that provides end-to-end strategic planning, blockchain development, and market entry services to East Asia. Japan continues to be an important operational hub for Cardano, and it has historically recorded one of the most active communities.
By integrating Cardano’s public layer-1 infrastructure and Pacific Meta’s consulting and network development ecosystem, the collaboration provided a comprehensive pipeline for Japanese companies looking to launch Web3 applications. The move could also streamline the onboarding process of traditional legacy businesses to safely integrate smart contract features.
However, no major updates have been shared on this partnership, and thus, the ADA price received no particular boost from this news and dropped to $0.245.
That said, Cardano’s open interest (OI), projecting the total value of outstanding futures and options contracts, recorded a notable recovery in recent weeks. From mid-September, the OI value has bounced from $405.90M to $626.3M, before retracing slightly to $543.5M.

The initial upswing indicates that market participants are opening new positions in ADA’s derivatives contracts in anticipation of a dynamic move. As the pioneer cryptocurrency Bitcoin rebounds to the $85,000 region, demand for altcoins, including Cardano, is rising again.
This market anticipation could act as a speculative force and bolster the recovery momentum for ADA coins.
ADA Price Rides Steady Recovery With Rising Channel Pattern
Over the past four months, the ADA price has witnessed a steady recovery trend from the base support of $0.14 to the current trading value of $0.245. This recovery showed a series of higher highs and higher lows, allowing the ADA price to reclaim the key exponential moving averages on the daily chart ( 20, 50, 100, and 200).
Holding above these moving averages suggests growing bullish momentum in the market. In addition, this price recovery is actively resonating within two parallel walking trendlines, creating a rising channel pattern.
The dynamic resistance and support trendlines of the pattern remain the most near-term price movers. Currently, the ADA coin displays a short consolidation with upside price rejection close to the pattern’s overhead resistance trendline.
If the overhead supply persists, the ADA price could plunge 14.4% and hit $0.21. This drop would also retest the support strength of the bottom trendline and demand pressure in the market. If the floor breaks, the sellers could accelerate the bearish momentum and push a deeper price correction.

On the contrary, if the ADA price manages to break out of the upper boundary of the channel, the recovery momentum could intensify.
